One of the pilots on the final Qantas Boeing 747 flight, Owen Zupp, made a compilation of the flight from Los Angeles to Mojave. The aircraft, registered as VH-OEJ and named ‘Longreach’, was the last jumbo jet to leave the Qantas fleet.
Qantas has retired the 747 early as the airline did no longer have any need for the aircraft. The Australian airline recently announced it would not operate any long haul flights until mid 2021.
