Emirates is expanding its passenger service network to 70 worldwide destinations. On Wednesday, the company resumed passenger flights to Kuwait. Lisbon will be reconnected to Dubai from the 16th of August. With the addition of these destinations, the old network will have been been restored by more than 50 percent.

Flights between Dubai and Kuwait are operated daily with a Boeing 777-300ER. Emirates flies to Lisbon three times a week, also with the Triple Seven. The number of destinations that the airline serves with an A380 is also growing.

From August 8th, Emirates will fly the superjumbo to Guangzhou and eight days later the plane will also be used on flights to Toronto. This brings the number of A380 destinations to six. The airline already flies regularly with the A380 to Amsterdam, London, Paris and Cairo.

Emirates requires all passengers to be tested for the corona virus prior to the flight. Previously, this was also possible upon arrival in Dubai. The test obligation applies to both transfer passengers and passengers with Dubai as their final destination.
